Semi-Precious Stones

Semi-precious gemstones, while valuable, may not possess the same level of rarity as precious gemstones. Nevertheless, they remain highly coveted for their beauty and vibrancy, often offering a more affordable option for gemstone enthusiasts. Examples of semi-precious stones include Amethyst, Aquamarine, Citrine, Pearl, Garnet, Peridot, Topaz, Tourmaline, Opal, Turquoise, and Moonstone. Semi-precious stones are generally not as durable as precious stones (except for emeralds). Still, with proper care, such as avoiding prolonged direct exposure to sunlight and water, they can retain their beauty for years. These gemstones can be found in various parts of the world, such as Tanzania, Kenya, and Mozambique, where stones like tanzanite, alexandrite, aquamarine, tourmaline, and rhodolite are sourced. My personal favorites are garnet, moonstone, and opal!
